Utility Warehouse, known as UW, announced a new partnership with the National League. UW stated that championing “the heart and soul of English football” is the right fit given that football clubs across the League connect on a local level, and UW Partners are at the “heart of communities across the country, helping their friends, family and neighbors to save time and money on their household utilities.”
“National League clubs are the soul of their communities and Utility Warehouse Partners are the heart of our business,” said Stuart Burnett, Utility Warehouse CEO. “Our partners are out there every day, helping their friends, family and neighbors save on their essential household services. We both thrive on making local connections, so it was a no-brainer to team up and help the fans and 72 clubs get on the front foot by saving time and money on their bills. Let’s get the ball rolling!”
UW will make a contribution to the League for every supporter that signs up, and fans will gain access to valuable savings on their household utilities. UW is also offering a £40 voucher to customers signing up for two services or more that can be used at their club, bringing savings to the customer and revenue back to their favorite team.
“We are excited to have Utility Warehouse join us as an Official Partner of the National League,” said Phil Alexander, National League CEO. “Our 72 clubs span the length and breadth of the UK, providing a fantastic opportunity for brands to engage with local communities. Utility Warehouse and the National League both know the real magic happens at a local level, on the terraces and over the garden fence. Through this partnership with Utility Warehouse, our supporters will get the opportunity to save money on their household bills and we look forward to seeing the relationship go from strength to strength over the next 18 months.”
