The Direct Sellers Association of Canada (DSA Canada) will host Connect 25 in Kelowna, British Columbia. The event, which will take place June 22-25, is expected to welcome national leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators to discuss and highlight the $8.7 billion direct selling industry, and how the expanding role of gig and independent work is shaping Canada’s economic future.
The city of Kelowna was selected for the event because of what the DSA called its “entrepreneurial energy” and thriving gig economy. WorkLife Wellness & Leadership Expert Trisha Miltimore will headline the event to cast vision for positive workplace cultures and empowered leaders who build sustainable success.
“This conference is a celebration of the power of people-led businesses,” said Peter Maddox, DSA Canada President. “We’re thrilled to bring this event to Kelowna, a city with a thriving small business community and a deep appreciation for innovation and independence.”
DSA Canada’s own Socio-Economic Impact data signals that direct selling is continuing to grow across demographics and provinces.
