Mannatech, Incorporated announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2025. Net sales during the quarter were $25.7 million, down 7.4% from $27.7 million in the same quarter of 2024. Gross profit as a percentage of net sales fell to 73.6% from 77.1% year-over-year, which the company attributed to sales promotions and increased freight costs related to backordered items. Loss from operations also increased year-over-year, from $1.1 million to $1.4 million, while net loss was $4.3 million, or $2.27 per diluted share, compared to $0.6 million, or $0.33 per diluted share, in Q2 2024.
New and continuing independent associate and preferred customer positions was approximately 125,000. Recruitment of new associates and preferred customers was down by 22.7% compared to the second quarter of 2024.
The company also warned that trade policies, particularly with respect to tariffs, could affect its cost structure and profitability in the coming quarters.
“While we take steps to mitigate or avoid these increased costs and disruptions, our ability to do so may be limited by operational and supply chain constraints and uncertainties, especially in the short term,” the company stated.
Mannatech ended the quarter with cash and cash equivalents of $5.9 million, a 51.5% decrease from $11.4 million at the end of December 2024.
