Coway Co., Ltd. announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2026. Revenue grew 13.2% year-over-year to $908 million. First quarter operating profit also grew 18.8% year-over-year to $171 million. Coway’s domestic market revenue grew 9.5% year-over-year to $507 million, which the company said was driven by successful product launches, including its Icon Ice Water Purifier 3, BEREX Pebble Chair 2 and the expansion of its new home medical device brand. BEREX bed sales grew 30% year-over-year, while net rental account additions reached 188,000, an 81.8% year-over-year increase.
Overseas subsidiaries also showed strong performance, with $366 million in revenue, a 20.2% year-over-year improvement. Malaysia showed particularly strong year-over-year revenue growth of 23.5%, while the US showed a 4.1% year-over-year decline.
“Driven by strong demand for our leading products and the successful launches of our latest offerings, we achieved solid growth in the first quarter,” said Soontae Kim, Coway Chief Financial Officer. “Building on this balanced performance across both our domestic and global markets, we will continue to sustain profitable growth through innovative product launches and enhanced marketing strategies going forward in 2026.”
